Use — use the material for commercial and noncommercial purposes
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
Adaptremix, transform, and build upon the photo and broll videos for any purpose, even commercially 

Create merchandise or products for resale or distribution where the main value of the product is associated with the asset itself. For example, you can't use the asset to create a poster, t-shirt, or coffee mug that someone would buy specifically because of the asset printed on it.

This license does not include the right to compile photos from Share Pueblo to replicate a similar service or share all of the available content in bulk with a third-party for purposes other than promoting Pueblo.

Edit, remix, transform any non broll video.  


Purpose -  all content available on Share Pueblo is meant to positively promote Pueblo and the surrounding region in southern Colorado.

Attribution — We take the work of our photographers seriously. As such, you must credit the photographer where possible. Photographer names are available on the file name (when provided). Their name and credit must appear near or under the photo in all online and offline uses. For social media posts, photographers may be credited in the post content.

Photos that do not have proper credit may be asked to credit them appropriately or taken down entirely from a member of the Share Pueblo team. Noncompliance can result in legal action.

Logos & Watermarks – Media uploaded to Share Pueblo should not contain any logos, trademarks, trade names or business names without written permission by the organization or individual who owns the trademark. This includes footage with business names and logos present, photographer and videographer logos and watermarks, notice of copyright or other proprietary right from any place on the media asset.

Photographer watermarks should be removed. Watermark limits how images can be used to promote Pueblo and distract from the content. Instead, label the image file with the photographer name credit e.g. pueblo_riverwalk_by_john_doe.jpg so you can be properly credited for the photo where it's used.

Media uploaded with any unauthorized logos and watermarks will be removed.

Distribution: When sharing Share Pueblo content on your own platforms, this content must:

  • Retain its original purpose to positively promote Pueblo and the surrounding region in southern Colorado;
  • Not use the media in any manner that competes with Share Pueblo;
  • Not use or display the media in such a manner that gives the impression that the media was created by you or a person other than the copyright holder of the media.

Permitted Uses:

  • invitations, advertising and promotional projects, including printed materials, product packaging, presentations, film and video presentations, commercials, catalogues, brochures, without any reproduction quantity limit;
  • school or university projects;
  • social media post;
  • entertainment applications, such as books and book covers, magazines, newspapers, editorials, newsletters, and video, broadcast and theatrical presentations of unlimited prints;
  • online or electronic publications, including web pages, blogs, ebooks and videos;
  • prints, posters (i.e. a hardcopy) and other reproductions for personal or promotional purposes
  • editorial; media agencies should reach out for specific use verification to before using any media file on

No warranties are given. The license may not give you all of the permissions necessary for your intended use. For example, other rights such as publicity, privacy, or moral rights may limit how you use the material.

If you find your image or videos being used incorrectly or without authorization on any platform that doesn't positively promote Pueblo or have questions about media use, please let us know at Note the location the media is used (i.e. website, screenshot or scan of a printed version), who is using the media in question and the date you discovered it's use.

Share Pueblo is a private-public partnership between the City and County of Pueblo, Colorado.
